Medi-Globe s.r.o. - Czech Republic

At the core of Medi-Globe’s manufacturing strategy and competitive position is the manufacturing facility in Hranice, Czech Republic. Since its acquisition in 2001 along with uroVision GmbH, this facility has been developed and expanded to manufacture both gastroenterology and urology products. Today, the facility supports most of the company divisions, either directly or indirectly, and is responsible for a growing portfolio of OEM branded products as well.

Medi-Globe s.r.o. was acquired as a low-cost manufacturing alternative to the various Germany-based facilities. It is particularly well-suited for manufacturing high volume, single use endoscopy and urology products under German, European and U.S. quality and regulatory standards.

As of July 2011 the Czech facility employed more than 165 people. Further, this site is poised for physical expansion in the near future, resulting in additional employees and increased capabilities.
