Urotech GmbH

In late 2002 Medi-Globe acquired Urotech GmbH, a urology manufacturing and sales firm focused on the German market. Together, with uroVision, Medi-Globe nearly doubled its urology sales products with its acquisition of Urotech.

Urotech’s product portfolio is comprised of Endo-Urology Devices and Consumables (stents). Within Medi-Globe’s Urology Group, Urotech is positioned as a high-end supplier offering key, differentiating technologies (i.e., PC-Coated stents) and some instruments.

Urotech traditionally has held a strong position in the German market, made possible by a highly competent direct sales force. During the last few years Urotech has successfully focused on expanding its export business, which is beeing executed via an expanding international distributor network.
