Gastro Sleeve

GERD and GERD related diseases are one of the most common occurring gastroenterology afflictions throughout the world.

Medi-Globe’s Gastro Sleeve is intended to be used as a surgical treatment alternative for Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Apart from the various expensive pharmaceutical treatment options and the so-called Fundoplication surgical option, the Medi-Globe Gastro Sleeve represents a highly interesting (if not more effective and natural) solution to the growing GERD condition.

Similar to Fundoplication, the Medi-Globe sleeve is intended to resize the lower esophageal sphincter to its natural diameter, therefore minimizing the reflux of stomach acid into the esophagus. More specifically, the Gastro Sleeve is a surgically implanted physical sleeve, “naturally anchored” around the esophagus.
