The research department within the Medi-Globe group has developed GLYCOcell - a highly effective antimicrobial gel dressing for wound care.

Medi-Globe’s GLYCOcell offering is a highly effective wound dressing line of products used for preventing bacterial growth at wound sites and significantly inhibiting the development of infections. Fast and safe healing of the wound is achieved via absorption and trapping of the wound exudate into the glycogel matrix, which offers bacteriostatic and antimicrobial attributes. Medi-Globe offers a specialized versions specifically designed for catheterized patients, as well as versions used for bedsores and other general wound care applications.
