Medi-Globe’s VascuLOCK is a unique and effective Percutaneous Arterial Closure device. The VascuLOCK system offers the possibility of safe closure at the puncture site in the femoral artery after the completion of heart catheter diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures. Such closure devices will become increasingly significant as the move to perform such procedures in an ambulatory surgery setting increases.

The company expects to begin marketing the device in the second half of 2009, after the completion of final product testing.
